Having a site submited to yahoo directory will result in an increase of the search positons on yahoo it could be worthly if the keywords you are aiming to have huge amounts of traffic searches cuz yahoo sends not even have of searches that google sends
Should you submit in Yahoo Directory?
The advantage of being listed in Yahoo directory is not only in their directory but it gives much power ranking in Yahoo seach engine.
Business.com or BOTW will not give the same power link as Yahoo directory, I am listed in Yahoo directory and BOTW. BOTW is a nice BL to have but doesn’t give the same as Yahoo directory.

I think its a good investment if you can afford it. Google has stated in the past that having a link to Yahoo and ODP/DMoz is a good thing, however I believe they removed that information from their guidelines recently. If you can’t afford the yearly cost then look into other lower cost directories that are human edited and have some value, BOTW and JoeAnt I believe are still helpful. Yahoo and directories are only one of many different ways to build links.

I would use the Yahoo Directory for either. What I have found, and why I continue to submit to the Yahoo Directory, is because it will help you in Yahoo’s free search. About 7-9/10 times, when I submit a site to the Yahoo Directory, in less than a month, my main keyword phrase is on page 1 in Yahoo’s Seach and the listing is the Yahoo Directory listing.

- Getting in yahoo directory certainly helps in increasing PR. with my exp i see y directory passing the most link juice.
